Why am I here…

In a world full of IG perfect photos and FB stories, here is a space where its not perfect.

These are first time recipes I am inspired to cook, there’s a ton of real life experiences. None of these photos are edited or “staged” with fake ingredients.

These are real meals I plan each week, I budget and purchase each month to bring these creations alive.

I do enjoy plating, it is an art form, we eat with our eyes and remember the worst experiences always.

The only kind of food I will ever say no to, is raw (if its not suppose to be like chicken & pork) and burnt (unless thats part of the textured experience or flavor added as in fire roasted peppers).

I am grateful that I do not suffer any food allergies.. yet! (as you age your DNA can change, so far so good, I am not allergic to anything.

ALTHOUGH, one time I was eating strawberries and next I had shrimp, made my mouth a bit itchy but that was YEARS ago. Have you ever heard of drinking milk and watermelon? Makes a weird skin reaction.

Anyway, that’s all I wish to share for now.
